Troopers said a 33 year old Louisiana woman was killed after being struck by an SUV while walking across US 98 in Santa Rosa County.
Santa Rosa County, FL.- A 33 year old woman was killed following a pedestrian accident involving an SUV in Santa Rosa County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The accident involved a Louisiana woman who was walking across US 98 and an SUV driven by a woman from Navarre.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol crash report, the pedestrian was walking south across the left turn lane before entering the eastbound inside lane of US 98.
At the same time, the SUV was traveling east in the inside lane.
The SUV struck the 33 year old pedestrian after she entered the eastbound travel lane.
The Louisiana woman suffered fatal injuries as a result of the collision.
Authorities have not released the identity of the woman who died.
The age of the Navarre woman driving the SUV was not provided in the initial report.
