Roscoe, IL.- A motorcyclist was injured following a two vehicle accident Monday evening in Roscoe, according to police.
The accident occurred around 5:30 p.m. on August 31 at the intersection of Hononegah Road and Illinois 251.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and a passenger car.
The motorcycle rider, a man in his 20s, suffered injuries in the collision.
Roscoe police said the injured man was transported to a local hospital for treatment. His injuries were described as non life threatening.
The accident affected traffic in the area for several hours while emergency crews assisted those involved and worked to clear the roadway.
