Troopers said a man suffered life threatening injuries following a motorcycle accident involving an SUV Saturday morning on U.S. 395 near Stead Boulevard in Reno.
Reno, NV.- A man was seriously injured following an accident involving a motorcycle and an SUV Saturday morning in Reno, according to the Nevada Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred at approximately 10:20 a.m. on August 15 on northbound U.S. 395 near Stead Boulevard.
Troopers responded to the scene following reports of a collision involving a motorcycle and an SUV.
One man suffered life threatening injuries in the accident and was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
No other injuries were reported following the collision.
Northbound U.S. 395 was closed between Lemmon Drive and Stead Boulevard while emergency crews assisted those involved and authorities investigated the accident.
Drivers were able to re enter northbound U.S. 395 at Stead Boulevard while the closure remained in place.
Authorities said the highway closure was expected to last between two and four hours.
Additional information about the vehicles and the circumstances leading up to the collision has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
