Paramedics transported six occupants of the Toyota pickup to the hospital

Reno, NV. – Multiple people injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Saturday night in Reno.
The accident happened at the intersection of South McCarran Boulevard and South Rock Boulevard at around 11:50 p.m., according to the Reno Police Department.
A Porsche 911 GTS and Audi RS5 were racing southbound on McCarran at a high rate of speed when both vehicles ran a red light at the intersection and struck an uninvolved Toyota pickup truck.
Paramedics transported six occupants of the Toyota pickup to the hospital, with the condition of an 84-year-old occupant deemed critical.
A juvenile driver of the Porsche was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
The driver and a passenger of the Audi were also hospitalized.
An investigation into the crash is ongoing.
