Mose Lake, WA – The Washington State Patrol has released the identity of a pedestrian who was hit and killed by a vehicle on Interstate 90 near Moses Lake on Sunday afternoon.
According to WSP, Randy H. Raap, 56, of Moses Lake was hit by a vehicle at about 12:30 p.m. on June 8 on I-90 near Exit 175.
WSP said Raap might have jumped from the overpass onto the freeway and was in the roadway when he was struck by a vehicle operated by 30-year-old Alexander Sparks of Everett.

Moses Lake, WA – The Washington State Patrol is investigating a deadly auto-pedestrian crash near Moses Lake Sunday afternoon.
The deadly crash happened at about 12:30 p.m. on June 8 along I-90, near exit 175, just west of Moses Lake.
According to WSP, a car traveling eastbound on Interstate 9 struck and killed a person who was in the roadway.
No one in the car was injured in the incident
Traffic in the area was diverted to the nearest off-ramp for about one and a half hours during on-scene investigation. All lanes of I-90 were back open by 2 p.m.
The deadly incident is under investigation.
