The driver and passenger of the first vehicle suffered injuries and were transported to Valparaiso Hospital
Porter County, IN. – Four people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Wednesday afternoon in Porter County.
According to the Porter County Sheriff’s Office, the accident at the intersection of U.S. Highway 20 and Maple Street at around 3:46 p.m.
A vehicle was turning left from Maple Street onto the eastbound lanes of U.S. 20 when it was struck by a vehicle traveling westbound on U.S. 20.
The vehicle turning left allegedly failed to yield to oncoming traffic.
The driver and passenger of the first vehicle suffered injuries and were transported to Valparaiso Hospital.
The other driver and two passengers were taken to Michigan City Hospital with unknown injuries.
More details about the accident were not released.
