Authorities said five people were injured following a two vehicle accident early Saturday morning on Interstate 10 near 83rd Avenue in west Phoenix.
Phoenix, AZ.- Five people were injured following a two vehicle accident Saturday morning on Interstate 10, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred around 2:37 a.m. on August 29 on westbound Interstate 10 near 83rd Avenue.
Authorities said the collision involved a Toyota RAV4 and a BMW.
Five people were traveling inside the Toyota at the time of the accident, and all five occupants suffered injuries.
One man sustained life threatening injuries in the collision.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the conditions of the other four injured occupants.
The driver of the BMW was not injured in the accident.
According to authorities, the BMW driver was being investigated for possible impairment following the collision.
