Authorities said a woman suffered serious injuries after being struck by a hit and run vehicle early Sunday morning at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road in Phoenix.
Phoenix, AZ.- A pedestrian was seriously injured following a hit and run accident Sunday morning in Phoenix.
The accident occurred around 2 a.m. on August 2 at the intersection of 43rd Avenue and Camelback Road.
Authorities said the woman was crossing the roadway when she was struck by an SUV that fled the scene.
Emergency crews provided medical aid before transporting the woman to a local hospital with life threatening injuries.
The woman’s identity has not been released.
Investigators have not located the vehicle involved.
The accident remains under investigation.
