4 Seriously Hurt in Accident at U.S. Highway 395 and Crestloch Road near Pasco

Troopers said four people suffered serious injuries following a two vehicle accident Thursday at the intersection of U.S. Highway 395 and Crestloch Road near Pasco.

Pasco, WA.- Four people were seriously injured following a two vehicle accident near Pasco, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident occurred on July 23 at the intersection of U.S. Highway 395 and Crestloch Road.

Investigators said a southbound vehicle on U.S. Highway 395 attempted to turn left onto eastbound Crestloch Road but failed to yield to a northbound vehicle, causing the collision.

Both drivers sustained serious injuries.

Two passengers riding in the northbound vehicle were also seriously injured, including one minor.

Emergency responders treated the injured at the scene before transporting them to area hospitals for further care.

Authorities have not released the identities of those involved or provided updates on their conditions.

Traffic remained affected following the collision, with only one northbound lane of U.S. Highway 395 open while investigators processed the scene.

The accident remains under investigation.
