Jeffrey Manor, IL. – A Chicago police officer was hurt in a collision after attempting a traffic stop on Friday in Jeffrey Manor.
According to a local news source, the accident happened in the 9700 block of South Torrence Avenue.
The officer pulled over the driver of the black Chevrolet Equinox, but the driver failed to yield and drove off, hitting the officer.
The officer was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver was yet to be located.
