The accident occurred on August 17 in the 300 block of Mt. Tabor Road.
Emergency crews responded to the scene after receiving reports of a collision involving two vehicles.
Authorities said one of the vehicles overturned onto its side following the collision, leaving the driver trapped inside.
First responders worked to extricate the trapped driver from the overturned vehicle before patients involved in the accident were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
According to initial reports, the driver of the overturned vehicle may have suffered a medical emergency before the collision.
Authorities indicated that the medical issue may have contributed to the accident.
The driver later died as a result of the collision.
At the time of the initial report, the other patients involved in the accident were listed in stable condition.
Authorities have not released the identity of the driver who died or additional information about the other people involved.
