Capitol Hill, WA. – Merc Malden was hospitalized with serious injuries after being hit by a vehicle as he rode an electric unicycle in the Capitol Hill area of Seattle on May 25.
The incident happened around 1 p.m. on Melrose Avenue East, according to Seattle police.
The man was riding an electric unicycle in the area and was hit by a vehicle, possibly a black or grey compact SUV.
The pedestrian was trapped underneath the vehicle and was dragged about a block, ending up at the intersection of Melrose and Roy Street.
The man suffered serious injuries and was taken to the Harborview Medical Center for treatment.
The woman driving the SUV did not stop at the scene and was yet to be located.
