Police said an Everett man was killed and five others were injured following a head on accident Thursday afternoon on Smokey Point Boulevard in Marysville.
Marysville, WA.- One person was killed and five others were injured following a head on accident Thursday afternoon in Marysville, according to Marysville police.
The accident occurred shortly before 1 p.m. on July 16 in the 13200 block of Smokey Point Boulevard.
Police said a Chevrolet Suburban collided head on with a Ford F-250 pickup truck.
The driver of the Ford, identified as a 55 year old Everett man, was pronounced dead at the scene.
A 30 year old female passenger in the Ford sustained serious injuries and was transported to a local hospital.
The driver of the Chevrolet Suburban, a 32 year old Arlington woman, and her three children, including an 8 year old and two 1 year olds, were also transported to a hospital with minor injuries.
Smokey Point Boulevard remained closed while emergency crews investigated the accident and cleared the scene.
The accident remains under investigation.
