The accident was reported just before midnight in the 2000 block of West Kessler Boulevard North Drive, according to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
A 50-year-old man was riding a moped when he crashed into a moped that was reported to have broken down in the street.
The man was critically injured in the accident and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
