Mesa, WA. – A 75-year-old woman was hospitalized after being injured in a collision near Mesa on Monday afternoon.
According to the Washington State Patrol, the accident happened around 1 p.m. on Highway 395.
Linda J. Elston, of Colfax, was driving her car south on the highway when she experience a tire blowout.
The woman lost control of the car which then flipped and landed on its roof.
The woman had to be extricated before being airlifted to Kadlec Regional Medical Center.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
