Authorities said a child was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle Sunday morning on Cadillac Drive East in Kokomo.
Kokomo, IN.- A child was seriously injured following a pedestrian accident Sunday morning in Kokomo.
The accident occurred at approximately 9:24 a.m. on July 19 in the 1500 block of Cadillac Drive East.
According to dispatch information, the driver ran over the child’s legs.
Initial reports indicated the child may have suffered broken bones, and emergency responders checked the availability of a medical helicopter for transport to a specialized medical facility.
Authorities have not released the child’s identity or provided an update on the extent of the injuries.
