One officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment

Indianapolis, IN. – An Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department officer was injured in a crash on Friday morning in Indianapolis.
According to the Indiana State Police, the accident occurred at the intersection of East Palmer Street and Dawson Street at around 6:14 a.m.
A teen was driving a car when he struck an Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department patrol vehicle with two officers. The teen driver fled the scene and was later located and arrested.
One officer suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital for treatment.
Two teens who were in the car were evaluated at the scene by paramedics.
