Indianapolis, IN. – A motorcyclist was killed in a crash on Monday evening in Indianapolis.
According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened in the 3300 block of South East Street near Madison Avenue at around 8:50 p.m.
The motorcyclist was traveling north on South East Street at a high rate of speed when he was involved in a crash with a black vehicle traveling that was traveling westbound.
Medical personnel pronounced the motorcyclist dead at the scene.
The driver of the car sustained minor injuries. He remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
