Police said two officers were injured after two law enforcement vehicles collided Thursday afternoon during an active pursuit in Hollywood.
Hollywood, FL.- Two police officers were injured following an accident Thursday afternoon in Hollywood.
The accident occurred on July 24 at the intersection of Van Buren Street and Federal Highway.
Authorities said the pursuit began in Hallandale Beach after a stolen vehicle was reported.
Investigators said the chase continued into Hollywood, where a Hallandale Beach Police cruiser and a Hollywood Police cruiser collided at the intersection.
Both officers were transported to Memorial Regional Hospital for evaluation with minor injuries.
Authorities have not released information about the driver of the stolen vehicle or whether anyone else was injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
