Hoffman Estates, IL.- One person was injured following a three vehicle accident Thursday morning on Interstate 90, according to Illinois State Police.
The accident occurred around 5:48 a.m. on September 3 in the eastbound lanes near Beverly Road.
Illinois State Police responded to the scene following reports of a collision involving three vehicles.
Authorities said a passenger car and a semi trailer truck were among the vehicles involved in the accident.
The driver of the passenger car suffered injuries and was transported to an area hospital for treatment.
Authorities have not released additional information regarding the severity of the driver’s injuries or the person’s identity.
No additional injuries were reported in the initial information.
One eastbound lane of Interstate 90 was closed while emergency crews assisted those involved and investigators worked at the accident scene.
