22-Year-Old Motorcyclist Killed in Accident at Grand Avenue and Maple Street in Franklin Park

Police said a 22 year old motorcyclist died following a collision with another vehicle Tuesday morning at Grand Avenue and Maple Street in Franklin Park.

Franklin Park, IL.- A 22 year old man was killed following a motorcycle accident Tuesday morning in Franklin Park.

The accident occurred shortly after 6:50 a.m. on September 1 at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Maple Street.

According to police, another vehicle was making a left turn from Grand Avenue onto Maple Street when it became involved in a collision with the motorcycle.

Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to the injured motorcyclist.

The 22 year old rider was transported to a local hospital for treatment.

Authorities said the motorcyclist later died from injuries sustained in the collision.

The driver of the other vehicle remained at the scene following the accident.
