Fort Worth, TX.- A pedestrian was killed following an accident late Monday night in Fort Worth.
The accident occurred shortly before midnight on July 13 on southbound Interstate 35W.
According to reports, the pedestrian was found in the roadway after being struck and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Emergency crews remained at the scene for several hours as they investigated the accident and cleared the roadway.
All southbound lanes of Interstate 35W were closed during the investigation before reopening later.
The identity of the pedestrian has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
