According to the Fort Wayne Police Department, the crash happened on Airport Expressway south of Lower Huntington Road at around 11:30 p.m.
A SUV driven by a woman was southbound on Airport Expressway and was hit from behind by another car.
The SUV was found off the road, while the second car ended up against a guardrail.
The male driver of the car was unconscious and was taken to the hospital with critical injuries.
The woman was taken to the hospital with less severe injuries.
