According to the Phoenix Police Department, the accident happened around 9 a.m. in the area of Cave Creek Road and Sweetwater Avenue.
A motorcyclist reportedly collided with a car in unclear circumstances.
The motorcyclist was transported to a local hospital, where he later died.
The woman driving the car was hospitalized with minor injuries.
