Authorities said one person was killed following a semi truck accident Thursday afternoon on US 50 near Bottom Road in Fallon.
Fallon, NV.- A fatal truck accident was reported Thursday afternoon in Fallon.
The accident occurred around 12:25 p.m. on July 16 on US 50 near Bottom Road.
Authorities said the collision involved a semi truck and an SUV.
Officials confirmed one person was killed, but have not released additional information about the victim or the circumstances surrounding the accident.
US 50 was closed between Bottom Road and Casey Road while emergency crews responded to the scene.
An additional closure was also in place near Gummow Drive and US 50 before all lanes were reopened.
The accident remains under investigation.
