Evansville, IN.- Two people were injured following a two vehicle accident on First Avenue in Evansville.
The collision occurred near the intersection of First Avenue and Dresden Street.
According to police, one vehicle was pulling out from Dresden Street when it collided with a vehicle traveling northbound on First Avenue.
Emergency crews responded to the scene and provided medical assistance to those involved in the collision.
Two people suffered injuries and were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Authorities said one of the injured people suffered serious injuries. Additional information regarding the condition of the second person was not released.
Police have not released the identities of those involved in the accident.
Both lanes of First Avenue were closed while emergency crews assisted the injured and investigators worked at the scene.
