Police said a driver hit the barrier of the highway and went over the concrete wall and it fell off the overpass.
Mt. Rose, NV. – A driver was hospitalized following a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning in Mt. Rose, according to Nevada State Police.
The accident happened a while before 6:00 a.m. on southbound Interstate 580 overpass.
Police said a driver hit the barrier of the highway and went over the concrete wall and it fell off the overpass.
The driver and the single SUV occupant was rushed to the hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.
Police did not believe impairment or speed contributed to the crash. They believed maybe distraction caused the collision.
An investigation is underway.
