Burr Ridge, IL. – The Illinois State Police is investigating a semi-truck rollover collision that left the semi driver hospitalized on Tuesday morning in Burr Ridge.
The accident occurred a while after 6:00 a.m. June 24 on northbound Interstate 55 near County Line Road.
Police said a semi-truck rolled over on northbound I-55 in unclear circumstances.
The semi-truck driver sustained injuries and was transported to an area hospital.
Police said low-level hazardous materials spilled on the roadway but were contained.
Northbound I-55 lanes were closed following the collision. At least two northbound lanes were reopened at around 3:20 p.m.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
