Authorities said a good Samaritan was killed after being struck by a vehicle while assisting at the scene of a rollover accident Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10 near Dragoon.
Dragoon, AZ.- A pedestrian was killed following an accident Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10 near Dragoon, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred on July 21 on eastbound Interstate 10 near milepost 318, close to Dragoon Road.
Authorities said the victim had stopped to assist at the scene of an earlier rollover accident when another vehicle struck them.
The pedestrian was transported to a hospital in Willcox, where they later died.
Additional information about the victim has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
