Phoenix, AZ – A man was killed last week in a hit-and-run accident in Phoenix, according to the police.
The deadly accident happened just before 1:00 a.m., May 23, on Grand Avenue near 24th Avenue.
Police said a vehicle was traveling northwest when it left the roadway and hit 21-year-old Christian Lopez-Kitelinger who was walking on the eastbound sidewalk.
The driver of the car stopped and got out of the vehicle after the accident, but then got back in and left the scene.
Lopez-Kitelinger was taken to the hospital where he died two days later.
The authorities are looking for the suspect.
