Troopers said a 30 year old Bronson man was killed following a two vehicle truck accident Friday morning on State Road 24 near the Alachua-Levy County line.
Bronson, FL.- A 30 year old man was killed following a truck accident Friday morning in Bronson, according to investigators.
The accident occurred around 7 a.m. on July 24 on State Road 24, also known as Archer Road, near Thrasher Drive.
Investigators said the man was driving a pickup truck westbound when it struck the rear of another truck that was slowing to make a turn.
The 30 year old Bronson man was pronounced dead as a result of the collision.
The driver of the other truck was not injured.
State Road 24 was completely blocked for a period while emergency crews responded to the scene.
Additional information about the circumstances leading up to the accident has not been released.
The accident remains under investigation.
