Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Department of Public Safety (DPS) is investigating a fiery crash that left at least one person dead on Interstate 10 in Tempe Wednesday morning,
The solo-vehicle accident occurred shortly before 4 a.m. on June 11 on I-10 at the State Route 143 transition ramp.
Authorities said the vehicle rolled off the ramp and caught fire.
DPS had initially reported that one person was hospitalized with sustained non-life-threatening injuries but later stated that the incident was fatal.
DPS did not state the number of people killed in the incident.
The crash remains under investigation
