The accident happened at about 6:50 p.m. near Southwest 286th Street and Southwest 142 Avenue.

The Miami-Dade Fire Rescue rushed to the scene to aid the involved persons.
Three people were extricated from a vehicle following the crash.
5 children and three adults were hospitalized. Four kids were rushed to a trauma center in the western part of the county while one kid was taken to a southern trauma center.
The three adults were taken to area hospitals.
