Indianapolis, IN. – At least four people were injured in a collision involving a train on Thursday afternoon in Indianapolis.

According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 2 p.m. in the 1900 block of E. Banta Road.

A Louisville and Indiana Railroad (LIRC) train and a black vehicle were involved in the collision.

Four occupants of the car were transported to an area hospital for treatment.
