2 Officers Injured in Indianapolis Crash on Fall Creek Parkway North Drive

Noblesville, IN. – Two Noblesville Police Department officers were injured in a collision on Tuesday night in Indianapolis.

The accident was reported around 9:45 p.m. in the 3900 block of Fall Creek Parkway North Drive near the Gate 6 entrance to the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

A car reportedly ran a red light on Fall Creek Parkway and hit two other vehicles.

The impact pushed one of the cars into two patrol cars.

The driver who ran the red light had to be extricated from the vehicle before being rushed to hospital with critical injuries.

The two officers, who were driving home after working security for Noblesville High School’s graduation at the fairgrounds coliseum, were hospitalized with minor injuries.

More details about the accident were not released.

The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is investigating the accident.
