A passenger in one of the cars was killed in the accident

Ridgefield, WA. – A passenger was killed in a rear-end collision in Ridgefield on Saturday morning.
The fatal collision happened on I-5 southbound near 179th Street at around 4:52 a.m., according to the Washington State Patrol.
Two vehicles were traveling southbound when one vehicle rear-ended another. The impact of the collision caused one car to crash into a cable barrier.
A passenger in one of the cars was killed in the accident.
The name of the deceased person was not immediately disclosed.
Four other people, including both drivers, were rushed to a nearby hospital.
