Police said a 55-year-old Corvallis resident was hit and killed by a northbound car in unclear circumstances.

Corvallis, OR. – One person was killed after a pedestrian accident on Monday morning in Corvallis, according to the Corvallis Police Department.
The accident happened at around 3:30 a.m. on April 27 on SE 3rd Street near SE Chapman Place.
Police said a 55-year-old Corvallis resident was hit and killed by a northbound car in unclear circumstances.
The Corvallis pedestrian was killed in the crash.
The roadway was blocked for several hours after the collision. The roadway was expected to reopen after an hour.
