According to Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, the accident happened around 7 p.m. at the intersection of Buffalo Drive and Elkhorn Road.
An SUV was traveling westbound on Elkhorn when it collided with a sedan traveling northbound on Buffalo.
A passenger in the sedan was killed in the accident.
Both drivers were transported to hospital with unknown injuries.
