Chicago Ridge, IL. – One person was killed after a fiery vehicle accident on Sunday morning on the Oak Lawn-Chicago Ridge border, according to the Oak Lawn and Chicago Ridge Police.
The accident occurred a while after 9:30 a.m. on April 26, at 110th Street and Central Avenue.
Police said two vehicles were involved in the accident. The two cars sustained significant damage. One of them was engulfed in flames following the collision.
One individual suffered fatal injuries and was declared dead at the crash site.
It was not immediately known if there was any other victim.
An investigation by the Suburban Major Accident Reconstruction Team is underway.
