Elkhart, IN. – 19-year-old Michael Harrington was killed in a motorcycle accident in Elkhart on Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Elkhart Police Department, the accident happened around 12:15 p.m. in the 1500 block of Bristol Street.
Harrington was riding his motorcycle east on Bristol Street when he struck a FedEx semi-truck pulling out of a parking lot.
Harrington was ejected from the bike and was pronounced dead at the accident scene.
The FedEx driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the police.
More details about the accident were not released.
An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
