According to the Auburn Police Department, the accident happened on A Street SE between 15th Street SE and 17th Street SE at around 12:21 p.m.
A 28-year-old woman was driving a car northbound on A Street SE when she reportedly failed to stop for a red light and collided with another vehicle that was turning left onto A Street.
A 65-year-old woman was killed in the accident.
The 28-year-old woman was taken to a local hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
