Phoenix, AZ. – One person was killed after a multi-car collision on Saturday evening in Phoenix, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The accident occurred a while after 6:00 p.m. on June 13, on northbound Loop 101 at milepost 48 near Thomas Road.
Authorities said multiple vehicles were involved in the collision for reasons still under investigation.
One person was killed in the collision.
The northbound traffic was directed to exit the freeway on McDowell Road. The roadway has since re-opened.
