Police said two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
Jackson County, IL. – One person was killed and another injured after a two-vehicle accident on Wednesday morning between Pomona and Etherton in Jackson County.
According to the Illinois State Police, the accident happened on Route 127 at Geothermal Lane at about 7:44 a.m. on June 4.
Police said two vehicles crashed for reasons yet to be determined.
One person sustained fatal injuries while another one was hospitalized with injuries.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
Troopers closed Route 127 and diverted traffic until about 12:00 p.m. following the crash.
An investigation is ongoing.
