Authorities confirmed two vehicles crashed for unknown reasons.
Fairmount, IN. – One person was killed, five others were hurt following a traffic collision on Thursday afternoon in Fairmount, according to the Madison County Sheriff’s Department.
The accident happened at 2:30 p.m. at 1900 North and 200 West near the Madison County/Grant County line.

One person was declared dead at the scene while five other persons were hurt due to the collision. Out of the five, three were flown to the hospital.
No additional information regarding this crash was provided.
