The ISP Troop 9 units confirmed three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.

Cumberland County, IL.- One person was killed and another one severely hurt after a multi-vehicle accident on Monday afternoon in Cumberland County, according to the Illinois State Police (ISP).
The accident happened at around 1:03 p.m. on Interstate 70 near milepost 112, 7 miles west of Greenup, Cumberland County.
The ISP Troop 9 units confirmed three vehicles collided in unclear circumstances.
One individual died in the collision while the other one was airlifted for treatment.
Troopers closed the roadway and reopened it at around 11.00 p.m.
