Eugene, OR. – A bicyclist was hospitalized after being struck by a car in Eugene on Tuesday afternoon.
The bicycle accident happened around 1 p.m. in the area of River Road and Federal Lane, according to the Eugene Police Department.
A 63-year-old man who was riding a gas-powered bicycle northbound in the southbound bike lane was hit by a Toyota Sienna operated by a 31-year-old woman.
The bicyclist was hurt in the accident and was taken to the hospital for treatment.
