LAS VEGAS (July 28, 2020)–Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys is pleased to announce that their law firm will host a contactless drive-thru backpack giveaway on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 9:00 a.m. through 12:00 p.m. at Dean Peterson Elementary School (3650 Cambridge St, NV 89169). The giveaway is in partnership with Clark County School District Police, Spring Meadows Presbyterian Church, and Dean Peterson Elementary School. 750 backpacks stuffed with Clark County School District (CCSD) required school supplies will be given away while supplies last! Limitations do apply.
The contactless drive-thru will proceed through the Dean Peterson Elementary School parking lot. Drivers and passengers are encouraged to remain in their vehicles. Drivers will then “pop the trunk” so that backpacks can be placed in vehicle trunks or truck beds. Please note that backpacks will only be provided for the school-aged children riding in the car.
“The COVID-19 pandemic has greatly affected the lives of many families in the Las Vegas area, the biggest impact being the loss of household income because of reduced hours at work or staff reductions. Our team came up with the contactless drive-thru giveaways as a means to still help families offset some back-to-school expenses, as well as give students needed tools to help them succeed in the 2020-2021 school year,” said attorney Glen Lerner.
