Supporting Our Troops via Military Assistance Mission
The law offices of Lerner and Rowe are pleased to announce that attorney Kevin Rowe has joined the board of Military Assistance Mission (MAM).
“MAM is a wonderful organization that provides much needed resources for active military, veterans and their families. I am honor to be involved,“ Rowe said.
With 224 staff in Arizona alone, the law offices of Lerner and Rowe have many staff members with immediate family serving in the military. Or, even retired veterans. Rowe’s dad even served for six years in the marine reserves.
Furthermore, the law firm also actively supports other programs and events that assist and recognize veterans such as Soldier’s Best Friends, Maricopa County StandDown and the Veterans Honor Walk and 5k Fun Run.
Providing Moral Support & Relief
Above all, providing relief to Arizona’s military and their families is the heart of MAM’s mission. But, sometimes families need more than emergency financial assistance.
Consequently, that is why MAM proudly serves military members across Arizona by offering a wide variety of supportive programs. These programs include:
- financial assistance (to cover rent/mortgages, utilities, car and insurance payments);
- discount offers;
- free educational classes;
- schools supply drives for family members;
- job placement services; also,
- adopt a military family holiday activities, and more.
When asked why he decided to join MAM’s board of directors, Rowe shared “I just feel that we need to do more for those individuals that sacrifice everything by fighting to protect our freedom. That includes their families that sacrifice alongside them. Additionally, it’s important to make sure that programs are in place to help soldiers assimilate back into civilian life.”
