NEWS: 8th Annual Charity Golf Classic Benefitting Arizona Charities

Lerner and Rowe Gives Back’s 8th Annual Charity Golf Classic Raised Over $518,180 to Benefit Arizona Charities

SCOTTSDALE, AZ (May 11, 2021)– Lerner and Rowe Gives Back excitedly announces that with the assistance of community partners and individual supporters, the Arizona 501(c)(3) non-profit raised $518,184.28 from their 8th Annual Golf Charity Classic that was held on Friday, April 30 at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club. 100% of the proceeds will be given back to support local charities throughout Arizona.  

In 2020, the Lerner and Rowe Gives Back Charity Golf Classic raised just over $461K. Add that total to what was raised in 2021, and the nonprofit was a little over $20,400 shy of raising $1 million in five months.  

This just goes to show that time and again, people are willing to step up in a BIG way. This goodwill is also reflected in the steady increase of proceeds raised year after year from each of the Arizona-based non-profit’s annual charity golf classics since 2016. $420K was brought in from the 2019 Charity Golf Classic. In 2018, the non-profit raised over $285K. In 2017, the Lerner and Rowe Gives Back Charity Golf Classic raised just over $250K. Lastly, 2016 saw over $200K raised.

That includes the impoverished, homeless, hungry, abused, and ill. That is why our team is overflowing with gratitude that our annual fundraiser raised  $518,184.28 to be directly given back and benefit local charitable groups and organizations throughout Arizona. We know that this would not have been possible without the support and generosity of our sponsors, community partners, and individual donors. Together we truly do more and have a greater impact in the lives of those who need help most.”
