SCOTTSDALE, AZ. (October 24, 2019) – Lerner and Rowe Injury Attorneys supports Arizona teachers by sponsoring the Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers program through the law firm’s nonprofit foundation, Lerner and Rowe Gives Back. Dollars raised through sponsorships and donations to Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers will be divided between 200 randomly drawn Arizona educators. Each teacher chosen will win a $5,000 grant to be used to enhance their classroom experience. Fiesta Bowl will announce the winners on Tuesday, October 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. via a live stream on fiestabowl.org.
“Our team believes strongly in giving students every opportunity to learn and excel. Arizona teachers play an important role in making these opportunities happen. And because of budget restrictions, many teachers end up spending their own money to enhance their classroom learning experience. We decided to partner with the Fiesta Bowl Charities Wishes for Teachers as a means to support our teachers who go above and beyond to give back to our local youth,” stated Kevin Rowe.
Since its inception, Wishes for Teachers has granted over $2.2-million has been granted to Arizona teachers, which in turn has positively impacted over 100,000 children across the state.
